Chic Fusion specialises in home decor and accessories made from pure wool felt. The story started with Razaan Jakoet’s love for natural fibres and her desire to master the felting process. After months of hands-on exploration, she founded the studio in 2010. Drawing on her textile background, she recognised the creative opportunities of felt. While she designs each product, the felting is completed be women from underserved communities in Cape Town. Razaan has successfully cultivated a refined collection for a discerning niche audience.
Chic Fusion prioritizes ethical practices in sourcing materials. Each item is crafted from 100% wool fibres. Additional natural fibres may be incorporated to enhance or complete the designs. The wool fibres are obtained from non-mulesed sheep in the Eastern Cape.
We use Oeko-Tex approved dyes that are free from the restricted substances outlined in the Oeko-Tex Standard™. This guarantees compliance with human ecological standards.
