The South African Furniture Initiative (SAFI) is the voice of South Africa’s furniture manufacturing industry, representing over 1,000 manufacturers across the sector. As a non-profit organisation, SAFI supports industry growth, skills development, job creation and export development, helping local manufacturers access opportunities in domestic and international markets.
Through HIVE Dubai, SAFI aims to connect South African manufacturers with international buyers across retail, wholesale, distribution and other commercial markets. The participating businesses offer a diverse range of furniture and home furnishings, combining distinctive products with manufacturing capabilities suited to different market needs and price points.
SAFI is here to build meaningful trade relationships, explore new sourcing opportunities and support the growth of South African furniture exports.
