Sunspan Bananas

Sunspun Bananas is one of the largest ripeners and distributors of bananas in Zimbabwe, with branches in Harare and Bulawayo. It has operated in Zimbabwe since 1953, although the latest shareholders took over the company in 2015. The company also has large citrus cold storage facilities and is one of the largest distributors of oranges in Zimbabwe. In addition, the company wholesales various other lines of fruit and vegetables.
Since 2019, Sunspun has invested in developing and controlling its own farm. The primary product is bananas, targeted for the South African market, and then horticulture for overseas markets.
