Baobab Products Mozambique is registered in Mozambique and based in Chimoio, Manica Province. It was set up by Eco-MICAIA Ltd (www.micaia.org), a social enterprise working to create market opportunities for smallholders and primary producers. Baobab Products Mozambique supplies raw baobab powder for national and international markets. For the export market the firm supplies organic powder (certified by Ecocert) under its brand ‘Baovita’ – also available as a finished product packed for local, regional and international markets. In the national market BPM also supplies conventional powder packed under its brand ‘Malambe’. BPM also supplies baobab oil – only organic.

Production capacity: Installed100 tons baobab and 50 tons honey. (Current Capacity: 40 tons and baobab 20 tons honey)

Certification: FDA registered, organic and halal certification. HACCP in progress
