Bonata Enterprises

Bonata Enterprises P/L is an export horticulture business founded in 2007. It specialises in greenhouse and open field production. On average Bonata exports 300tons of fresh produce to UK, Ireland and Netherlands. It has 2 main production sites, 70km and 30km from the airport for easy management of cold chain and logistics.
Bonata owns the land with title deeds. It has adequate farm equipment and implements together with experienced labor. It has a temperature controlled pack house (500m2), receiving cold room (100m2) and a despatch Coldroom(100m2) all under one structure.
Produce is moved from Packhouse to airport in 3 refrigerated trucks of different sizes.(payloads of 4t, 9t, and 15t)

We have water rights from a perennial river that passes through the farm giving us adequate irrigation water through out the year.

In an effort to contribute to the green energy, we recently installed a 150KVA Solar Plant for the pump house at a cost of USD100k.
Efforts are underway to power the Packhouse via another solar plant installation.
